Stainless Steel Tig Welder

Tig Welder reviews shop order documentation to ensure all requirements for the order are understood.
Analyzes engineering drawings, blueprints and specifications to plan, layout welding operation.
Perform Tig welding based on project needs.

Use established good manufacturing practices and published work instructions to manufacture product in accordance with shop order documents.

Notify supervisor of any problems that occur, either with documentation or production of the item.

Accurately complete all paperwork associated with the tasks being performed.

Maintain clean and orderly work area.

Notify supervisor when the task is complete or when a problem makes it impossible to continue working on the assigned task.

Attention to detail, good math skills, ability to work independently.

Operate angle grinders in preparation of the welding process if necessary.

Knowledge of and adherence of established safety standards.

Minimum requirements High School or GED, Trade school training.

Must be able to read blueprints. Possess good math skills.

Welding certification, fitting ability a plus.

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Perform various welding procedures such as TIG, MIG and Flux Core.
• Read and comprehend engineering drawings, blueprints and specifications to plan.
• Must possess ability to pay attention to detail, good math skills, and ability to work independently and with other team members.
• Accurately complete all paperwork associated with the tasks being performed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Use established good manufacturing practices and published work instructions to manufacture products in accordance with shop order documents.
• Operate angle grinders in preparation of the welding process.
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use personal protective equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 – $26.00 per hour
