Custom Modified Drums & Kegs
Our Custom Pressure Vessels
Our versatile configuration options enable us to provide a vessel that fits your exact processing needs. Starting with a liquid capacity of 1 gallon, we can scale up to match your production volume. Whether you want modified stainless steel drums or carbon-steel kegs, we fabricate pressure vessels from these and other materials to ensure chemical compatibility and durability. Each unit can be outfitted with custom closures and fittings to integrate with your existing systems, and we maintain full compliance with ASME, UN/DOT, and TC certifications.
We modify:
We have industrial drums for sale that our experts can customize with specialized ports, heating jackets or linings to handle the specific viscosity and chemical requirements of chemical or food-grade applications.
Our team customizes kegs with pressure relief valves and specific connection points for seamless integration into your production line.
We modify the inner bag that separates the product from the propellant, helping you extend shelf life and reducing the risk of oxidation in sensitive liquids during dispensing.
Comprehensive Custom Services
We leverage a full suite of services to customize drums and kegs for your specific application:
- Design: Our in-house engineers use CAD modeling to simulate vessel performance and fit. We also assist in evaluating and redesigning existing components to reduce your overall manufacturing costs.
- Fabrication: We use advanced Davi forming rolls and precision shears to shape vessels, along with specialized welding equipment for 10-16 gauge material thickness.
- Regulatory testing: Our custom drums and kegs undergo rigorous hydrostatic and pneumatic testing to verify structural integrity and meet UN/DOT or ASME standards.
- Passivation: Our dedicated acid room features large-capacity dip tanks up to 108″ deep that allow us to fully submerge vessels to remove free iron and promote long-term durability.
- Electropolishing: This electrochemical process smooths the metal surface at the microscopic level, reducing bacterial attachment points for high-purity applications, as required in the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries.
- Mechanical polishing: We achieve specific surface finishes using specialized machinery, including new dome polishing equipment, to meet sanitary requirements or prepare surfaces for coatings.
