Sharpsville Container manufactures both non-refillable and refillable gas cylinders. Both style cylinders are widely used in medical, specialty gas, industrial safety, and calibration applications. All of our cylinder products are manufactured and tested in accordance with US Department of Transportation (DOT) and Transport Canada requirements. Serving the major specialty gas producers worldwide, Sharpsville cylinders are offered in both industry standard and custom designed sizes using a variety of approved materials and prepared to accept various CGA valve connections. All of our carbon steel cylinders are finished and protected with a durable, attractive powder coating color of your choice.

  • Gas Cylinders

    SCC manufactures both non-refillable and refillable cylinders with service pressures up to 2200PSIG. Cylinders are manufactured and 100% tested in accordance with Department of Transportaion (DOT), Transport Canada, European Union (TPED) and HSE requirements. We offer a wide range of options from our standard product listing and can provide in-house design services for your specific application needs.

      1. Compressed Gas Association (CGA) approved valves and fittings.
      2. Powder coating options available.
      3. Seamless tubing and deep drawn stamping options.
      4. All cylinders meet requirements for filling and transporting Flammable (Division 2.1) and Non-Flammable (DivisIon 2.2) gases listed in 49CFR part 173 authorized in US DOT specification cylinders.

     

     

     

     

  • ASME Pressure Vessels

    These portable vessels are ideal in UN/DOT and ASME applications and come standard with a 2B pickled sanitary finish.  The 6” stainless steel top ferrule provides you with filling and dispensing versatility.  These ASME pressure vessels come in sizes ranging from 1 to 5,000 gallons.

  • ASME Pressure Cans

    We offer a complete line of small ASME rated cans.  These cans are available in a number of configurations to meet your demands.  The standard can is rated at 130 PSI at 250°F and comes with ASME certification.  These cans are available in standard designs or custom designs as required by your specific application.
